ABOUT A SERIOUSLY FULL POT OF FRESH COFFEE(Several Live Plants In A Single Pot) Imagine fresh coffee beans grown at home… Coffee is a very easy to grow tropical shrub that thrives indoors or out. Here in the North Florida/Georgia area, our plants produce beans randomly all summer before they are brought indoors for the winter. Arabica thrives in the humid tropics where rainfall is regular, abundant and a short, dry season helps to facilitate flowering and pollination. Arabica now finds its home in Hawaii and Central America and makes up almost 90 percent of the worlds coffee crops. A glossy leaved evergreen shrub growing to about 15 feet at full maturity will sport white fragrant flowers that generally open simultaneously within a week or two from appearing. Fruit begins green and slowly ripens to a crimson red when ready for harvesting. The seed inside these fruits is extracted, roasted and ground to produce one of the world’s oldest and most globally consumed beverages. These are very healthy plants with well established root systems. This Coffea Arabica Kona Coffee is ready to be repotted and enjoyed upon delivery. Please note: Coffee plants grow fast and the size may be smaller or larger than images shown above depending on the crops cycle.
